I am new to VLC and need help auto pausing after playing a .wav file. What I would like to do is load 10 .wav files in a playlist then load the playlist and start it. After the first .wav file is played I would like VLC to automatically Pause at that point and wait for the user to click Play again and have it play the next file in the list, then pause again, until the user clicks Play again...etc., etc. until the end of the list. Can you do this in VLC?

I appreciate any help you can give.

Did you ever find a solution to this one? I am after exactly the same thing. If not VLC, what player can do this?

Tools > Preferences > Show settings = Simple > Interface: [v] Pause on the last frame of a video
