New HD-encoding in Germany - No playback with VLC

When will it be possible to playback recordings from the german Free-To-Air TV-Channels like "Das Erste HD" again?

Since the analog-satellite transmission was switched off in Germany (30. April 2012) there are new Free-To-Air TV-Channels available via Satellite Astra 19,2E. These new TV-Channels and some old TV-Channels like "Das Erste HD" have changed their HD-Coding to a new (they say "more efficient" and "not in contrast with specifications") HD-Coding.

Other TV-Channels (like the "ZDF") are using the old HD-Coding.

There is no problem with recordings from the "ZDF" and other HD-Channels, where the old HD-Coding is used. They can be played back well. But it is not possible to playback recordings which were made after 30.04.2012 on TV-Channels like "Das Erste HD" and other TV-Channels which also use the new (more efficent ???) HD-Coding. Only the first frame is shown.

There were some Manufacturers of Satellite-Receivers with problems to playback (decode) the new HD-Coding, but they have solved the problem by updateing their Firmware.

I am a little bit frustrated now, because this was many months ago. Does nobody else have this Problem with VLC and the new Free-to-Air TV-Channels in germany?

I think it should be not a big problem for the programmers of VLC to implement a decoding for the new HD-Coding used by "Das Erste HD" & Co. .

I'm using MythTV (were the recordings are done) in conjunction with DVB-S2. It is not a problem to playback all the recordings made there, with MythTV-Frontend on the local-machine. But to watch the recordings at another Computer (streaming and/or downloading), VLC should be furthermore used as playback-software.

(P.S. :) ) Yes, my Computers have already the newest Version of VLC installed and I have also tested older versions. The Problem is platform-independend (same problem using VLC on Linux or M$-Windows)!

Can you try to force threads to 1 in preferences?

I am able to do so (have done so now), but that not solves the problem. Also I think that it is not a performance problem on the computers I use. I think there is need for an alternate way of decoding the sequences.
