Recording Folder???

VLC Player can now record, which is great.
Where do I decide which folder the recording will be saved in?

In video preferences.
I used the german version, and cannot find preferences. I uninstalled, re-installed new, but it automatically installs the german version...
Still, when I click on Video, there is no preferances in the menu--- and nothing that could be remotely translanted as preferences....?

Menu Tools -> Preferences then the Video tab.

there is not !
I tried to attach the picture, but it is not possible. THERE IS NO PLACE TO CHOOSE IT
There is a place for snapshots... I am talking about whole footballgames...

You're right, the record folder is not in Video Tab.
Strangely, it's in the "Input & Codecs" Tab, as shown in the next pics :
