I'm fairly new to color correction/grading, so this question may strike you as stupid. Videos I am playing are displaying black as gray, I tried crushing the black but doesn't quite feel right. I think the problem might be because YUV videos are playing in the YUV color space on my PC RGB monitor. I tried convert a video to HuffyUV rgb and the video looks like they do on my TV:

The one on the left is in Huffy rgb. Does anyone know how to compensate so I get the colors I want in the final video file?
