I'm pretty sure these questions are OS agnostic. Please forgive me if they aren't but a quick double-check on the work Windows computer makes it look like it's similar to OSX at home.

Is there any way to add the other metadata columns to the playlist? I only see name, author, and duration.

Is there a thumbnail/icon view for the playlist?

Or barring that, is there a way to enable a thumbnail to display somewhere whenever a playlist item is selected?

Right click on the columns titles and you'll see all of the available fields.

It will display the first embedded cover, if available (not for OGG, yet). But no thumbnail preview/image of a video.
It seems there is a bug though: the cover is not displayed on the first run, you need to double click on the playing item again for the cover to appear.
