I am new to VLC and forums but I need some help. I recorded a network stream over our internal network from a device called a Teradek. It uses rtsp, I recorded the stream with the proper address and it showed in the window as I was recording it but after I stopped the recording and tried to play the file nothing happens. This has worked in the past month????

Any suggestions this was a one time event and I really need to recover the video.

I just noticed something some of the files have properties ie: length and frames etc. and some do not. Why would some have properties and other not? I recorded them all the same way. I don't even know how to set these things.

What is the file size?

6055660KB but it is doing it for any files size that is missing the details. Its almost as if the file doesn't have the right instructions for something to play it back???

When I right click on the file and select details the data fields are empty.
