Capture from Osprey 700 - no audio/video

Postby Toc-o » 06 Aug 2012 18:07

Hey,

I am trying to capture from an Opsrey 700 card and want to record in h264/mp4.
I can play back the input fine.
But when I try to record it there will be either audio or video only in the .mp4
Does anybody know what could cause this problem?

This is what VLC tells about input and output:

It looks like audio is missing in the input. But I dont understand it since audio was recorded, the video is missing.

I would be very happy if this is just a matter of settings. I didnt found the Osprey 700 on the list for compatible devices but since I can playback the input it should be working, right?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I tried again with VLC 2.0.3 on Windows 7 32-Bit.

I reorded from Osprey and wanted a output as h264/aac MP4.
I got a file without video but with audio.

Here is what VLC tells about it: http://pastebin.com/RjhVFTzy
I configured and startet the capturing, stopped it and played the file once.

I looked through the debug alerts but I could not find anything that would tell me that there is a problem.
Could someone else find sth suspicious?

Thank you for your help!
Could you tell what could be behind this "drift too high"?
I searched on the forum and found people having issues with cache tim esettings. I tried different values for that in VLC but it did not change anything so far...

Try to increase streaming caching in preferences.
