VLC Video Wall and streaming limitations

Hello,

I am currently working on two projects where I am considering using VLC. Both projects involve a video wall, and I have been searching the forum for information on this subject, but have not found an exact answer.

My main issue is, how capable VLC is in keeping large video walls in sync, either by streaming over a network or direct output (cable) from the computer. Specifically, one costumer has asked for a video wall consisting of 64 android devices, as a proof of concept project. Not considering hardware issues, are there any limitations in VLC that would prevent this use?

With the normal wall filter, all windows are managed by the same VLC instance on the same system.

VLC does not sync multiple receivers out of the box. It might be possible to sync with the netsync plugin though.

Thanks for your reply, netsync seems the way to go and looks fairly straight forward to use, though time will tell :)
