very loud noise when I'm changing video speed

Postby aleq » 15 Jul 2012 22:48

Hi

When I change the speed of the movie below or above 1.00x the volume becomes very loud. Like a machine gun with the volume all the way up and scratching. I assume it's some sort of bug or hardware/software conflict.

I have: Win7 (64-bit), my sound card is Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty and my VLC version is: 2.0.2 Twoflower

All assistance is greatly appreciated.

Try disabling audio time stretching in the preferences. The algorithm is not exactly perfect.
