Full complete screen?

I currently have a few thousand music videos in my library and have VLC set to force 16:9 Aspect Ratio. It does that on the first video on the list then after that to get it to show 16:9 I have to manually set it. Is there a way I can get this to maintain 16:9 Aspect Ratio continuously? Thanks you very much.
