VLC 2.0.2 won't play TechSmith Screen Codec 2

Hello everyone,
Camtasia just released a new version of Camtasia on 19th June 2012, Camtasia version 8 and one of it's new features is the released of a new better and improved version of the old codec TechSmith Screen Capture Codec. The new better and improved codec is called TechSmith Screen Codec 2. All the previous versions and current version of VLC player are able to play videos which uses the old codec TechSmith Screen Capture Codec. But the current version of VLC player (2.0.2) cannot play the new codec TechSmith Screen Codec 2. I don't know why it can't play the new codec, but i would assume the current version isn't compatible with the new codec. If it is could someone tell me, how do i get VLC player to play the video which uses the new codec? If it isn't, can someone please notify the admin about this issue so they can update the VLC player so it is able to play or read video which uses the new codec TechSmith Screen Codec 2.
NOTE: I also found out that, strangely Window Media Player (version 11) was able to play both the old codec and the new codec videos. I didn't even update Window Media Player, after i got the new codec and I'm pretty sure the version of the Window Media Player i have was the version released before the new codec was even invented.
Thank you,
whoamomma2.
