Windows mozilla plugin?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, i DID search, but found no answer to my question. I've read in serveral places that there is a windows version of the mozilla plugin for VLC. When i went to look for it, all i could find was documentation on bugfixes, and mention of it being supported, but no actual plugin hosted anywhere. If anyone can help me out with a link, or verification that its not a true plugin, I would be very happy.

The plugin is provided within every binary package for Windows (and used by Google now btw. ;) ).

Well, the windows mozilla plugin is in the Installation Directory of VideoLAN, its a folder called mozilla, containing the mozilla plugin a and mozilla component.

If you have selected to install the Browser Plugin (I think it's disabled by default) when istalling VideoLAN, then the dll and the xtp-file are getting copied to the propper folders in your Mozilla Firefox Installation (but you could also put them there by hand the dll into plugin folder and xpt into component folder andre fresh the page and type about:plugins in adressbar to verify)

hope that helps
