Assign Video Tranformation (rotate, flip) to hotkey?

Assign Video Tranformation (rotate, flip) to hotkey?

Postby Urthman » 26 May 2012 20:41

I know there's an option to transform a video (flip or rotate it) buried in the effects and filters menus.

Is there a way to assign these functions to a hotkey? E.g. press SHIFT-H to flip video horizontally, SHIFT-V to filp video vertically,

There's some comments on the web about using scripting to rotate or flip a video from the command line when it launches. I don't know anything about LUA hacking, but is there any way to use scripting to assign that sort of thing to a hotkey?

Or should I maybe submit this as a feature request? Is there something about the way transformation works that it pretty much has to be buried under three menu tabs instead of making it assignable to a hotkey?
