Hello!
Is it possible to add som kind of background to subtitles. It's sometimes very hard to see the text when it's white and the movie too.

Just DL VLC 0.8.2 and running it on Tiger using an iMac G5 but there are no subtitles available - it is grayed out even though there are srt files ... I was able to access the subs using Panther but not Tiger - why is this? Is this a bug or something else?

I have the same bug, Kimmy. I'm hoping there's a new version coming out soon that will fix this.
