Pop-up/autohide Toolbar (how to)

Somewhere along the way (about 2 yrs ago) i was able to get the main toolbar customized and it would autohide in full screen mode. It wasn't full width either, which was nice when you want a clean screen.
I've been hunting these forums and toolbar editor for where to do this again w/o any luck. Any tips?
Thanks.--RR

I added button for docking the Fullscreen controller, but it didn't seem to do anything when I click it while the video played. The toolbar was still fullscreen width and not a pop-up/auto hide.

As I said earlier, clicking the dock/undock button doesn't do anything. It looks like <---> and says it'll dock/undock fullscreen controller from/to bottom of screen in the customize window. The button does show in the video play window, but no functionality other than the button does the push in/click animation.
Again clicking the button in the toolbar doesn't do anything. I've tried minimal view, and any combination I could find without it ever working. It is Vista-32. When I posted this, I didn't think it was a bug, just something I didn't know how to replicate.
Now I'd say it's definitely a bug.
Will you take care of reporting it or what should I do?
Thanks--RR
