Add subtitles over a playlist?

I have a movie that is in different parts but only one subtitle file, is there anyway that I can add the subtitles over the playlist. When I try to add it, it just adds to the first video.

No, at least not from the UI.

And even if you did, it wouldn't work. The subtitles would start from the beginning for every part of the video, which is certainly not what you want.
