Hi, this should be fixed in the next major release with the rewrite of the internal clock system.

It's 2019 and I'm still waiting for this critical bug to be fixed. For the record, this user is actively looking for an alternative media player that does NOT have an annoying software DJ that keeps distorting the sound with unwanted pitchbend.

I can confirm this is still partly present in 3.0.4 . It does not happen anymore when you start playing a song (hoora!!! thanks guys!) However, it does still happen when you seek in a song. It is very audiable to me, especially when you seek multiple times in a row the pitch changes enormously. I don't have an absolute pitch hearing, but I can hear pitch changes very well, and they sound terrible. I think that people without this hearing might also hear this pitch change when seeking multiple times in a row. Would it be possible to apply a solution similar to what is done at song start ?

Same here for years on OSX + Android.
I always thougt it was a parameter to activate/dectivate. But recently it was really bothering me and I now found out that it is not a parameter issue.
I t always occurs the first seconds after the playing start. It is unrelated with the beginning of a song. It is related with the "playhead" starting to "read" (buffer, clock, etc.)

I hope it will be solved at some point.
