Cant install skin pls help.

I just tried installing a skin what i do is launch vlc. then switch interface to skins2. Then i ctrl + s and click the winamp(skins2) to load it, but after i do that the skin doesnt change. i thought i followed steps correctly...

wierd i had to change it to tar.gz and extract files and load it from xml file and im using the latest version of vlc...
Also i just noticed only 1 skin is in skins2, not many ppl make skins ?? If theres another website any recomm on one to use

You did READ the skins webpage did you? With the big red warnings on them? The place where you downloaded the skin?

The part that says skins2 is new and that there is this bug where you need to do that rename trick and that bug is even included in the latest version?

You are right there are not many themes for skins2 but help from people who have time to convert the old skins and make new ones would be greatly appreaciated !
