vlc plugin mozilla not work

I'm French so you use a simply language please.
I have a problem with the vlc mozilla plugin in order to play video on a web site.
When I play a web site with streaming video, vlc plugin for video streaming, display "no picture".
I'd rather how do you make in order to work this plugins.
