VLC Port

Postby wwaibel » 09 Dec 2003 18:53

Hi all,

everybody is talking about a http-interface for vlc on port 8080. is there a way to change this port?

as i understand the parameter --server-port=9090 is to tell the vlc the port of vls. isn't that correct?

problem ist, that i am running on

80 apache
8080 zope

and i cann't change, because i need access through a wap-gateway.

any ideas are realy appreciated.

Use the --http-host config option (eg. --http-host=:8181)
