VLC on Mac OS 10.3.3

First of all, many thanks to all involved in creating and evolving VLC. It's a terrific application!

I thought I'd mention a problem that I'm having...

I'm currently using VLC v.0.7.2-test2 on two G4 Macs to watch Japanese Anime fansubs, and at the end of each show (file) I get the spinning beachball and VLC quits. I'm not sure, but I don't think this occured with previous versions.

To be honest, I wouldn't have thought much about this, but I've recently begun viewing my PowerBook through my TV, and I tried to use VLC's playlist feature for the first time. To be clear, each show crashes individually or as part of the playlist.
