I opened the same file side-by-side with the different versions and you can clearly see a difference in the cropping. Please take a look at the image below. Any ideas why the cropping would change between versions?

16:9 cropping issue after upgrade from 0.8.4a to 0.8.5
After upgrading from 0.8.4a to 0.8.5, I noticed that the 16:9 cropping was not allowing my video files to fill my HDTV.
I opened the same file side-by-side with the different versions and you can clearly see a difference in the cropping. Please take a look at the image below. Any ideas why the cropping would change between versions?

Here is a solution for the 16:9 bug:
Open the preferences, and go to the settings tab. In "video cropping" put 16:9. Restart VLC.
Now 16:9 will appear twice in the crop menu. One will crop correctly and one will crop incorrectly. It should be obvious which is which, but on mine the correct one is the lower one and it appears between 16:10 and 221:100.
