I adjust the option to 0 and 2, but I think it does not work, because the image has not any changes, and keeps dark always.

anybody helps me? thanks a lot in advance.

my os: Windows 2000 Pro
VLC Ver.: 0.6.2

Hello,

Did you enable the "adjust" video filter ?

You must enable it in the "Video" Panel of the preferences, and then set the brightness in the right panel.

Alternatively, you can download vlc-0.7.0-test1 from here (http://www.videolan.org/pub/testing/vlc-0.7.0-test1) and you have then the "Extended GUI" that lets you set brightness easily.

I download 0.7.0-test1, and it's OK.
