video vlc 5.3/7.0

Hallo, very nice program! I hav a problem with the vers. 0.6.0 - 0.7.0.
With my pc AMD 1800 windows 2000 and windows xp (use the software
with wireless/adhoc) use on the laptop. Have video with vlc 5.3! With the newer Vers. i can hear only the sound of every videofile avi, mpeg2 pp. Whats wrong?? With my DVD-Player (Intervideo DVD) i can play the files.

Try upgrading DirectX on your machine

installed direktx9.0 , no picture/video, only the sound. DVD-Files played with video?! The files from progdvb (record & timeshift) without video only
0.60 and newer)!!

So DVD files work? Then it's probably because your progdvb files are... kinda sucky files. you can try increasing the file buffer in the preferences modules->access->access-file

You can also try to reset your VLC config file.
Go into VLC's preferences panel and click on "Reset All"
