Furigana support for VLC?

Hey there! Sorry for the really specific question.
I am currently watching movies that are subtitled with ruby text given in parentheses next to the kanji they apply to. Is there a plugin that can read the ruby text in the brackets and render them small and on top of the kanji they apply to, per usual ruby usage?
