No recording of screen captures

Hi,
Athough I've selected my "Pictures" (in Preferences/Entry Codex) to receive my screen captures, it doesn't work. I've already uninstalled at reinstalled VLC, no change...
Can anyone help me ?

Make sure to do it using the Browse button.
Once the output folder has been set don't forget to click on the Save button at the bottom, then exit and restart VLC for the setting to take effect.

I'd done that a few times before asking for help. I've just done it again, no result....

Per chance, I've just discovered that screen captures were recorded in a folder called in French "Galerie" appearing just under the Home icon in Windows 11....
