Track name replaced by folder on play in cue playlists

Version: 3.0.16 Vetinari
OS: Windows 10 Pro build 19045

When I open a cue playlist in VLC, I see tracks inside the playlist:



However, when a track starts playing the track name is replaced by the folder name:



Is there a way to disable this behavior?

This is specific to cue playlists, xspf playlists are not affected.
