RTSP stream zoomed in not showing whole picture

As title says VLC shows the rtsp stream from my webcam as a zoomed in square not showing the whole picture. I had the same problem on OBS and was able to fix with a settings change. Changing the aspect ratio just stretches the square. Full screen just makes the square bigger. Here is a pic of VLC(top one) and what it looks like on my phone app and OBS when streaming RTSP. Using 3.0.20 Any suggestion to try? Thanks
Just tried SMPlayer and it displays correctly.

VLC plays what it receives at the given URL. Either you need to select a different video track, or you need to check the camera manufacturer documentation.

Otherwise the only advice that one can give is to do the same you did with OBS.
