Semi-Randomization of video's

Postby JoostDofferhoffLIMA » 16 Feb 2024 13:53

Hi,

I have a question regarding randomization of video's in a playlist. This is regarding an interactive old DVD that I would like to migrate to modern video formats, but would like to keep the interactivity.

The case is this;
I have 40 short video's. Half of them (20) I will call Batch 1 and half of them (20) I will call Batch 2.
I would like VLC to randomly pick a video from Batch 1 and play it and after it ends I would like it to pick a random video from Batch 2 and play it. After that the process repeats indefinitely.

My question is; is this possible? If yes, how would I go about it?

Thanks so much for your answers and help!

best, Joost
