Refresh playlist without restarting the player

Hi all,

I have a setup where VLC plays all local files in a directory in a loop (not streaming) which works great, but I need to be able to add more videos to that directory and have VLC pick the new file the next time it runs through that loop, without stopping and restarting the player.

I've searched but I'm unable to find an answer for a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, unfortunately, I'm not sure you can do that as-is. The best solution would probably be to write this as a lua script and list the files yourself.
