Command Line Interface initialized.

hello vlc
i was/ am using vlc successfully
i have purchased a new BENQ monitor
now with this monitor the ON SCREEN text is veryyyyyy smallllll, when im in the part of vlc that shows files im playing and also in the PREFERENCES WINDOW....
so i went looking for a means to emlarge the text

i changed some settings...yes in ignorance
now when i play vls ONLY a command line window appears...thats it
how do i stop this command line window appearing and get back to the normal vlc window w opening
