Update server unblocking

Hello, I had blocked a bunch of regions however that also seems to have blocked VLC player from running updates on my devices. I would like to add the update server to an allow list/whitelist. What address would I be need to allow for the updates to go through?

You need access to update.videolan.org to receive the update metadata, get.videolan.org to fetch the reference for the file to download and any mirror server selected for you automatically from a list of ~100. I'd believe that downloading the update manually is probably easier in your setup.
