Using a projector and removing films from library

I am using VLC Media Player with a mini projector and I am having a problem removing the demo film and another unwanted film (played once but still showing) from the media library.
With the VLC menu displayed on the projector screen and using the projector remote, I cannot find a select or delete button and don't seem to have access to the VLC menu at the top right of the screen. The Play Menu on the Remote does not bring up anything useful, and I have no keyboard or mouse available. Please help!
