Hi people,
There is this little quirk in browsing the Media Library or a playlist using the Up/Down keys. Little thing but blew up my ears a tad too many times )
Each time I reach the end of the list at the bottom, the "Down" key automatically starts decreasing volume instead, instantly muting volume.
What's worse, reaching the top blows up my ears every time I am not super careful.
What's even worse, you just can't quickly back off the volume with Down/Up, respectively, because those keys continue to merely go Down/Up the list. Only practical thing is either throw the Headset away or cover ones ears to protect them...
This doesn't seem to be affected by changing the Volume hotkeys. Looks that all of these bindings are hard-coded.
Now I can imagine the practical reasons of having such behavior, unavoidable hotkey conflicts between different parts of VLC, etc. But it still seems a bit too much of an unwanted behavior.
Is there any way to fix this?
Version 3.0.16-1build7 on Linux Mint 21, but I imagine this to be OS-independent (excuse me if I happen to be wrong...)
