Vlc doesn't open certain videos that i put in sub folders

I have this weird problem with only some videos , when i try playing the video in my main video folder works fine , but if i move the video to a sub folder and i open it i get the "VLC is unable to open the MRL" error , is there any solution to that problem?

Are you using Windows? Are the filenames and folder names giving you problems long? It could be that the files are exceeding Windows 260 character limit. This usually happens when the files are moved into a sub-folder because it adds more characters.
