Issues with Audio Convertion

Postby SixMachine » 31 Mar 2023 17:55

Hello, been a user of VLC for ages and have just recently begun having a problem converting to mp3 and I can't see any online guides/help that have managed to fix it...

I record videos on obs and have 2 channels, 1 for video etc, 1 for my voice, and previously I've always used VLC to convert channel 1 (my voice) to mp3 so I can edit it. But now when I try to go through the convert -> add -> convert - destination process the output file seems to be double the length (as in 20 mins long from a 10 min recording) and I can hear my voice but it seems chopped up with bouts of static.

I'm following the same exact process I've always done so no idea if I'm just overlooking something really simple but for the life of me I can't figure it out and would realy appreciate some ideas or help!

Thanks,

You could try to change OBS 2 channels to 6, might that works.
