Only 50% of Recorded Video Available to Play

Hi All,

I have recorded an RTSP stream from an IP camera I have at work but only half of the file is available to watch.

I have used MediaInfo to read the file and have the below durations:

Duration : 1 h 8 min
Source duration : 2 h 20 min

Does anyone know if it is possible to recover the missing video??
This has happened on a few tries.

You have recorded it with VLC ?

And no, you can't recover what has been truncated.

Yeah, it was recorded in VLC.
Annoyingly it happened to a few different files at different times.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the recording, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file which fails to be recorded to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.
