File plays audio out of sync

I have a file that plays fine in other players, but VLC on Windows and Android plays the audio out of sync.

I recall being instructed to upload problematic files in the past. Please let me know how to do that.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

200 MB max should be enough.

Cutting with DGSplit results in a clip that won't play. I assume that means the source file is bad, but MPC-HC and PotPlayer don't have the sync issue.

Yes, I can reproduce the issue, even in software mode, while it's playing fine with other players.

You should create a new report ticket on the VLC Trac with your above report, the links to your files and the link to this thread:

I can't log in to submit a ticket. I don't get a password reset email, registering says my email is already taken, signing in with my main gitlab.com credentials doesn't work, and I see no link to contact a code.videolan.org admin.
