downloading Twitter video not working

so I know we suppose to put the video link in "Open network stream" then click play - but nothing happens - vlc seems to twitch but not Loading or playing any video

VLC can't parse any web page for playing any video available on the internet.
I'm not sure VLC can play Twitter videos, at least I don't see any plugin for VLC with the word Twitter in its name.
