VLC MEDIA PLAYER VIDEO TITLE

Hello,

I've been facing this problem for a couple of weeks:

I dowload a vid which has a specific title / I change its title (just to find it more easily on my pen drive), but when I open the vid via VLC Media Player, the title which appears on my PC screen is the old one.

Is there an explanation for it? It has never happened before.

If a tag is present then VLC will display it and not the name of the file.
