Destination file name problems

Hello everyone;
when I choose the destination of the file, vlc keeps the extension of the video (.mp4); if I take it off by hand then I get an .mp3 file (what I want).
Shouldn't it automatically become .mp3 since I chose the .mp3 profile?

Yes, I think it should behave like that.
