Video playlist from cloud server

Postby lingle873333 » 11 Jul 2022 19:59

I use pCloud to store my videos. I have no problems playing them using VLC Player. I use the "Open File" command in the Media menu and browse to the video I want to play. I also have video playlists stored (.m3u files) that I created using VLC--they are also stored on pCloud. As per the above, I can play any of the individual videos that comprise the playlist but when I open the .m3u file in order to play the entire playlist I receive the following error:

"Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///P:/Videos/Clips/........ (insert file name)' Check the log for details."
Any ideas? Also, I can't figure out how to "check the log for details." Thanks for your help.

I think it's an issue of relative vs absolute path.

Logs could help: Open VLC, press Ctrl-M, increase verbosity to 2, reproduce the 2 working and non-working steps and copy and paste the logs here.
