when I try to play a videofile on my new notebook (win XP) I hear the sound without any problems, but I only get a picture while visualisation is enabled. No such problems with windows mediaplayer, etc. on my old computer same version of vlc (0.7.1)works fine. Settings on both computers are the same.
can someone help??
I don't want to enable the visalisations all the time
