Spherical MP4

Postby Flexman » 24 Jun 2021 11:38

I wonder what this is: I got an MP4 file, but instead showing the normal video, I just saw a section of the video in full screen.

The scroll wheel on the mouse did zoom in and out (instead of changing the volume), and I was able to rotate the video like in a spherical environment.

I ran the video through the losless video cutter, then it was like a normal video. But I wonder what this was...

360 tagged video, played then as 360. No issue here
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :

Didn't assume VLC to be wrong anyway. :)

Can you ignore this 360 tag, or vice-versa activate it for non-360-videos?
