No sound playing converted video outside of VLC

I opened a video with VLC, converted and saved it and when I open it with other programs there is no volume. This is a new issue because I've done this before without any problems. Is there an update I may need to do?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the conversion, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.
