No Audio in Playback When Using Red Record Button To Record Clips

Postby divine » 06 Jan 2020 17:39

RE: No Audio in Playback When Using Red Record Button To Record Clips

I'm new to this video forum, so please just "bear with me" if the answer to my question here has been answered previously.

When I play a video using the VLC media player and click the red record button to record a SECTION of the played video, when playing the clip back there's no audio (??).

Does anyone have some insight on this? VERY annoying to have the clipped video with no audio. :?

Did you ever resolve this? I have the same issue.

What are you trying to record ?

About the resulting output file:
Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:

100 MB max should be enough.
