Can no longer watch/record Twitch streams
I was able to do it a few weeks ago but now nothing happens when I press the play button. Haven't changed any settings and the version I'm using is 3.0.12 updated 2 days ago. I can watch youtube streams normally so maybe it's something Twitch did so people can no longer record streams?

VLC can no longer be used for www.twitch.tv

we can no longer stream and watch www.Twitch.tv on VLC.
We have not been able to do that for 14 days now. We have updated VLC to the latest VLC 3.0.12 .....
Windows 10 is also updated to latest. But VLC still will not play www.Twitch.tv.
The internet here has been checked and it is fast, stable and sweeps nothing.
We have tried several PCs and talked to a number of others in Europe who can no longer watch www.Twich.tv as a stream.
Has www.Twich.tv blocked access through VLC? We have previously supported money for VLC so we hope very soon you get it fixed.
What has gone wrong with VLC?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

It does not help our VLC situation that it can not play twitch.tv. Sending an Error Report Before the developers get it fixed, it may take a long time. It was more if we could do something here and now get to fix it so VLC can stream Twitch again

It might be fixed when the devs will get a report log, there is nothing we can do here without a log anyway.

So we can state that problems with VLC being able to stream Twich.tv will not be solved for the time being by those who call themselves "experts" behind VLC and before an update of VLC

I can't see where anyone called himself an expert. Show me.
For tracking down any issue a messages log is required, then the devs can find out what is going wrong. We can not guess what is occuring on your side without a log. Why is it such a problem for you to provide a messages log ?

So try to explain it properly and exactly how we do step by step in DETAILS with the "log", we are not system developer and Program Experts.
What kind of "log" do you keep talking about if you want, we have already done what you described and given you the log that you said we should.
You wrote we should: go under messages - debug stream and get errors. all that we have done.
You write it is a problem for us, no it is not us what the problem is that you do not describe EXACTLY what you want more from the "log" and how we then do ...

The URL above (djsebimusic) does not work with YoutubeDL either.

We have tried streaming twitch.tv without age limit, this does not work either, sometimes VLC shuts down completely when trying to stream twitch.tv. There is an error in VLCThe URL above (djsebimusic) does not work with YoutubeDL either.
Did you try with an age-unrestricted URL?
