Sorry, I have a problem. I want to change the VLC files icon because I don't like it. In the program's files I didn't found a real method to do that. Help please!

Yes, how do i get rid of the icon vlc put as icon of the music files?
It happend after the update, vlc took a picture from my google photos. Why?
I did not do anything to make that happend.
It's exstremly annoying!!!!
I cant find anything in "setting" that can change that. What to do?
I dont want to erase the vlc-app, but i Will if i cant decide what icon i can choose.
Why do vlc do this?

Um, yeah. I have had the same problem just today after uninstalling / reinstalling. (I opened some other program by accident and it fouled EVERYTHING up to where VLC was no longer the default. I decided a reinstall would be the quickest and most sensible approach, and was correct.) The icons are the only thing that didn't go right, but at least it works. I can't fathom though why the file associations would be made, but the icons not established in the process.
