Where are VLC remember positions stored? Preferences?

Hi! Hope you’re doing well!
I want to copy and paste the preferences or whatever so I can retain saved positions. If this is within preferences I can just copy the entire preferences folder!

how do we impliment this, i am not wishing to engage in "flash" (operating video local area network controller from n o t a dedicated drive). my hope was a command line loaded individual to media file, command line docked multiple media file, and prayerfully playlist file (sorrie to be formation, can video local area network controller load custom settings file and can local area network video controller carry resume named media and not only named media cloaked media)

I was trying to copy it from an old macOS install to a new one. Ideally merge but doesn't have to be.
