Postby donnje » 13 Aug 2020 13:10

Hi,
When I open a MOV file I always see a green bar in the left side, is there any way to fix?

that shouldn't happen
To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:
  1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
  2. Set Verbosity to 2
  3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
  4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
  5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [code]and[/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)
Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !

Please upload your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com (200 MB max) or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.
https://www.zippyshare.com
https://wetransfer.com

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 35#p193335
100 MB max should be enough.

I don't want to cut the video but display it correctly like other software does

I noticed that the problem is only on some videos, they are actually iphone photolives which are transformed into MOV files by the sync program
Taking new photos today and turning them into MOV is ok
I'm sorry I can't put the video it's personal but I put the log that was requested of me in previous posts

Sorry but the log is not enough, we need an original sample file, even a short one.

You can always make a non personal video...
